IPSoft End-to-end Solution passes Svyazinvest test

FSUE Central Science Research Telecommunications Institute, Russia’s leading research and development organization in the area of telecommunications and information technologies, and Netris, a leader in software development and integration for IP communications and digital television, announce that End-to-end Solution under IPSoft brand has completed IPTV testing. The flagship Netris’ solution showed positive results in the tests for compliance with standards of Svyazinvest, Russia's largest telecommunications holding.

End-to-end IPSoft Solution consisting of IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware, IPSoft iStream Video Server and IPSoft DMA Content Distribution System confirmed the support of the following IPTV services: TV Broadcasting, Video on Demand (VoD), nPVR, Pause Live TV, TimeShift TV, EPG and others. Netris initiative was carry out additional tests to show the advantages of adaptive video streaming over the Internet, advanced PC-player service and multilingual search. Also FSUE ZNIIS concluded the solution fully meets the requirements for the content encryption and provides fault tolerance through the redundancy of all components of the solution.
