Sovcombank and Netris Increase Security Level

Fraud Management, Netris development for Sovcombank, will allow to counter defrauders effectively.

Netris, a leader in software development and integration, and Sovcombank, one of the most fast-growing Russian banks, have announced today the successful implementation of Fraud Management - an IPSoft DebtCollection option module, providing fraud detection at early stages of credit files processing. Using wide Fraud Management tools set, the bank can define defrauders, estimate bank risks and send suspicious credit files to the security service.
    
As soon as Sovcombank got to the consumer credit market it was decided to invest in high technologies preventing frauds. Fraud Management takes into account peculiarities of bank business-processes structure, can detect different types of fraud and can be adjusted according to the obtained results. The system collects and analyses incoming data, detects regularities in dishonest customers' occurrences, controls the process of fraud investigations, allows to make decisions on fraud preventing measures.

"Fraud Management will provide control of the loan granting process by a customer, a freight outlet, a region or a service channel," says Tatyana Evstigneeva, the head of Sovcombank retail risks department. "The business-requirements to the system for fraud prevention were developed according to our goals. The system meets all international requirements and Netris, our good partner, executed the development and implementation. I'm sure that positive results of the product implementation will be not long in coming."

At present moment IPSoft DebtCollection, an overdue debts collection system, is successfully operating in Sovcombank. The product was implemented by Netris in 2008.
