Netris Has Deployed IPTV Solution in Moscow Region

Smile, one of the largest multiservice providers in Moscow Region and Netris, the Russian leader in software development and integration for digital television, announced the launch of IPTV service based on Netris iVision Middleware. At the moment the service is already available for Smile’s subscribers in cities Yubileiny, Korolev, Mytishchi, and soon it will be available in all cities where the operator has coverage: Balashikha, Lyubertsy, Zheleznodorozhny, Sergiev Posad, Pushkin, Khimki, Krasnogorsk, Shchelkovo and some others.

IPTV under Smile brand offers 89 television channels from around the world, high quality video and easy to use interface. In the near future, the operator plans to increase the number of channels to 120, which will offer subscribers a wide range of thematic content, including HD. To subscribe Smile IPTV service a user needs to purchase or rent an Amino set-top box.

Netris iVision Middleware is Netris flagman product that was designed for video and interactive services management in fixed and mobile networks. Netris IPTV Platform provides basic IPTV services and offers a wide range of additional features: mosaic view, picture in picture, clients for PC, mobile telephones and digital TVs, statistics server and banner advertisement system.
