London, UK – Netris (www.netris.ru), a Russian leader in carrier-class IP-communications software development and system integration participated in IPTV World Forum 2007, the biggest annual conference and exhibition that focus on the key marketing, business and technology challenges facing IPTV service providers. It was held 5-7 March inOlympia, London, UK. The event (www.iptv-forum.com) gathered more than 4000 delegates and about 150 exhibitors. Among others there were leading IPTV solution developers, biggest service providers from all over the world with experience in IPTV system deployment to share or operators who only start IPTV business, content producers and aggregators and the world analytical agents. Netris was the only Russian company that was presented at the exhibition of IPTV World Forum with its own stand. The focus was on Netris key software product - IPSoft iVision IPTV Middleware. It is a carrier-class service delivery platform to enable interactive video (IPTV, VoD, PVR, etc.), communication (voice, video, instant messaging, etc.), and interactive multimedia services (games, ads, etc.) for IPTV fixed and mobile networks. This efficient, reliable and flexible platform is built with the use of open standards and can be easily integrated with any VoD servers, CAS/DRM, OSS/BSS systems or IP STBs. The latest version of the platform is designed to provide a core service functionality of IPTV solution, i.e. access to all IPTV services, subscriber portal generation, service management and basic accounting, IPTV solution components interoperability as well as many additional interactive services like ReplayTV, mosaic channel view, IM, TV commerce applications, HD portal templates and many others. There was a keen interest at the exhibition to the new interface abilities which were shown on STBs with Opera and Mozilla support and to the new flexible tool kit that enables to adjust interfaces to current service provider requirements. “We are very glad to participate in such a respectable event because in the first place it gives us awareness of the industry trends and in the second helps to establish relationship with new promising market players”, noticed Igor Rumyantsev, Netris CTO. “We agreed to have team-work with several IPTV component suppliers to design integrated solutions which will be offered to our Russian and foreign customers”.
