New product allows operators to deliver IPTV services to set top boxes as well as to secure media players on PC. It gives superb advantages in IPTV deployment and widens subscriber experience. IPSoft iVision PC Solution enables safe content delivery to the viewers. PC users have the same functionality as STB owners. Broadcast over IP, Video on Demand, Near Video on Demand, PVR are available for both types of subscriber devices. The security and display of the content are provided by View Right PC Player designed by Verimatrix, a leading DRM software developer. The number of available players is expected to be increased as soon as other CAS/DRM manufactures announce about similar products appearing.
