Netris has deployed a CCTV system for Rostelecom’s Volga Macroregional Division Print E-mail

Netris, the leader in IP-communications software development and systems integration has won the tender and successfully deployed platform for providing video surveillance services to B2B and B2C subscribers of Rostelecom’s Volga Macroregional Division

The integration’s distinctive feature is ability to connect cameras using Plug and Play mechanism, developed by Netris specialists, which does not require any special network setting knowledge. It allows Rostelecom subscribers to easily carry out video surveillance via the Internet from anywhere in the world using different devices: PCs, tablets or smartphones.

The platform has been successfully launched and the services have demonstrated high demand among industrial subscribers and various organizations: housing and communal services companies, apartment owners, developers, business centers, trading companies, industrial enterprises and warehouses for monitoring their own premises and adjacent territory.


The system is based on Netris CCTV Platform and extremely productive Netris iStream video servers. It provides the ability to view real time video from cameras including simultaneous view of multiple video streams – in layout mode, and view of video archives with adjustable depth record. The system is integrated with Google and OSM Web Map Services, which allow displaying icons of cameras on the map. The separation of system users’ rights (the role model) is also provided for Rostelecom’s Volga Macroregional Division subscribers.

Rostelecom’s Volga Macroregional Division operates across Russia’s Volga Federal District.

It was established in April 2011 on the basis of OJSC VolgaTelecom after that company was taken over by Rostelecom.
