A meeting on Kazakhtelecom JSC activity results for 9 months 2011 with participation of members of the Board and general directors of the branches held in Almaty.

Pursuant to the consolidated financial indices, company’s net profit composed 39 918 million tenge, revenues from services realization - 125 938 million tenge, EBITDA – 52 643 million tenge.

As of 01.10.2011 number of fixed lines composed 3 900 619 units, where MTS - 2 809 805, RTS - 1 090 814. Number of broadband access subscribers composed 911 801, users of iD TV - 73 316 people.

Some measures on improvement of users’ internet access service characteristics was carried out with accent made to an active Kaznet development and increase of speed without any changes in payment have been performed for 9 months of current year. Thus, from 01.07.11 tariff parameters of "Megaline Hit/Light/Box" have been changed: speed increased for subscribers of Almaty, Astana and oblast centers to internal resources from 2 to 4 Mbit/s, to external resources from 1 to 2 Mbit/s. Traffic threshold to external resources has been specified up to 30 GB. Access speed to external resources has been increased after fixed traffic threshold to external resources from 128 Kbit/s to 256 Kbit/s has been reached. From 1 August 2011 parameters of "Megaline Turbo tariff plan has been changed: monthly payment reduced from 5 845 tenge to 4600 tenge with VAT, and traffic threshold to external resources increased to 40 GB. From 01.09.11 access speed to external resources increased for all settlements of level lower oblast center from 1 to 2 Mbit/s and to internal resources of Kazakhtelecom JSC from 2 to 4 Mbit/s. A reducing coefficient 0,75 can be applied to monthly payment if lack of technical feasibility in providing service by specified parameters. Also from 1 September new tariff plan Megaline Drive with rate 5600 tenge has been launched, from 1 October 2011 new tariff plan «Megaline Optima» with rate 3500 tenge has been launched.

An issue on telecommunication networks centralization control has been considered within the meeting and process of realization of the Program on Kazakhtelecom JSC costs reduction has been discussed, pilot draft of which was held in Karaganda and Zhambyl Oblast telecommunication directions.
