IPSoft Billing is the high performance and reliable billing system, which allows to tariff telephony and VoIP services and Internet access services.

Tools

IPSoft Billing provides all tools necessary for easy system management:

Collectors. Perform gathering of billing information and interact with access servers.

The following collectors are supplied:

Radius Collector - collects information about VoIP and Dial-Up services (PPP, PPPoE).
NetFlow Collector - collects information about traffic used while connecting to Internet via broadbаnd.
CDR Collector. collects billing information from log files, created by external hardware. In this moment CDR Collector can gather data from PBX and from Microsoft ISA log files .

System Core (IPSoft Mediation Core). The core is built based on IPSoft Mediation Platform . It performs all authorization and tariffing tasks. It is the high performance and reliable solution which greatly increases the system performance and reduces the data processing delays.

Client Application. Provides easy and flexible mechanism and contains all settings required for System management. Realizes functions, required for System Administrators, Supervisors and Operators and provides abilities to expand interface for the specific user.

Customer's Web-Interface. Provides to customers the ability to interact with IPSoft Billing in real-time.

Distributed Installation. IPSoft Billing's components can be installed on several computers in order to increase reliability and performance. The components may be installed in any combinations.

Multi-Platforms. IPSoft Billing can be installed on the following operational systems:

§ Red Hat Linux 8.0 (or higher);

§ SUN Solaris 9.1 (or higher).
When the distributed installation is used, each component may work on any OS mentioned above..

Scalability.IPSoft Billing is the flexible and scalable system due to abstract service configuration. IPSoft Billing can interact with any collector, and authorize services based on any data, received from collectors. So, the system can process any kinds of services.

Basically, IPSoft Billing contains pre-defined settings: all supported collector types are registered in System, and basic service specifications are configured (VoIP, Dial-Up, traffic and CDR calls accounting etc.).

Flexible tariffing. IPSoft Billing uses abstract tariff plans. It allows to tariff services using any data received from access servers. Additionally the flexible tariff plans settings are provided. Such mechanism enables you to create any tariff plan possible, including complex tariff plans with attached services.

Easy customers and accounts management. IPSoft Billing provides easy and convenient mechanism to manage customers, its accounts, products, services and resources. Both individuals and organizations are supported. Customers, accounts, products, services and resources are organized in a tree. It allows to obtain much management possibilities.
