Rostelecom had acquired Netris, a leading Russian developer of IT-solutions for video surveillance systems

Rostelecom PJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia's largest digital services and solutions provider, announces the acquisition of Netris group - the leading Russian developer of video surveillance solutions for government customers, corporate clients and telecom operators  by Rostelecom Group of Companies. Among Netris clients are such companies and government agencies as Kazakhtelecom, Department of Information Technologies of Moscow, City Monitoring Center of St. Petersburg, Department of Informatization of the Tyumen Region and others.

For many years, city video surveillance systems developed by Netris have been applied not only to ensure security, but also to successfully manage the largest administrative units of the Russian Federation, and also to create “Smart” cities and regions on their basis.

Purchase of Netris group will strengthen Rostelecom’s competence in the innovative services segment, and will also strengthen its competitive position in the metropolitan area, since the company is one of the main partners of the Moscow City Government in creating and supporting urban video surveillance systems.

Netris CEO Alexander Dolgikh has extensive experience in successful management of information technology companies. The position of CTO has been taken by Ilya Lisovsky, who has abundant experience in IT projects management.
