Netris takes part in full-scale ecomonitoring project in Karelia

On September, 6 pilot ecomonitoring project was launced in Karelia. The project is based on specialised digital platform integrated with Netris CCTV system. The platform provides the opportunity to perform permanent automatic environment control and address any negative change promptly. This combined solution can upgrade another sphere in the region, which is garbage removal. CCTV cameras and sensors will control garbage containers load. In case of any incidents the information will be transferred to the responsible services immediately. Digital ecomonitoring platform is a cross functional tool aimed at sustainable environmental security and life comfort. It can collect and evaluate environment status data (air, water and soil quality, radiation level), inform of starting fires and floods, it can make forecasts and simulate environmental changes. The system key advantage is the whole region environmental data consolidation, based on which action plans and recommendations are prepared automatically for the officials in order to reduce environmental risks.
